This melon is a product of Nara prefecture in Japan.
Cushioning materials are scraps of disposable chopsticks. Using scraps of disposable chopsticks as cushioning materials is a great example of upcycling waste material into something useful. 
Using the end material of wood for construction to make disposable chopsticks is another great example of waste material utilization. Making disposable chopsticks is a traditional industry in this land.
Figuring out the best time to eat melon is difficult.
